Movie Toys

Over the years, every movie that had appeal to children, gave birth to hundreds of products that would help them find out more about the universe in which its characters lived in. Books, comics, video games and toys, they all come with a great film.

Of all these, Batman Begins toys are definitely the most popular toys based on movie characters. The first Batman movie, the one in which Jack Nicholson played Joker, made a terrific job of transforming a comic every kid loved into a hit moving picture.

The sequel, Batman Begins, filmed 15 years later takes it one step further, bringing kids deeper in the Batman universe by presenting the events that led to Batman’s birth.

Another movie that left its mark in every child’s heart was the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Undoubtedly the most popular film during 2001 thru 2003, the Lord of the Rings toys that came with its release are still as popular.

The adventures of Frodo, Aragorn and of course, Sméagol combined with breathtaking visual effects created an amazing atmosphere.

One can not leave out Star Wars, which has fascinated both children and adults for almost 30 years. The six episode science fantasy saga has had its impact over generations of fans and Star Wars toys and video games from a galaxy far far away have been popular with kids ever since the first episode came out in 1978.

Who can not love Chewie, the brave wookie?

Another more recent movie that children went crazy for is King Kong, which follows the story of an oversized gorilla which ruled Kong Island. With fantastic special effects, children were immediately drawn to it. King Kong toys, especially action figures sales exploded.

The latest kid movie hit is Cars, which tells the story of a sports care named Lightning McQueen that gets lost Radiator Springs. I will write an interesting article on it very soon.

Can someone forget about Ice Age? I bet not! A movie like this will always be popular with both adults and children. Manfren, Sid, Diego and of course, Scrat are memorable characters. Article coming soon.

Movie series on Cartoon Network or other kids’ channels, just like their bigger screen brothers, have also given birth to whole new lines of toys. It's fair to mention Jay Jay the Jet Plane toys or Thomas the Tank Engine.
